Good afternoon everyone,
Our project work on space is going great guns. It is heartening to see the children taking ownership in their learning by being vocal about the sub -topics they would like to learn in this term. They are also able to share the facts they've learnt so far and contribute concrete ideas during group discussions.
Last week we learnt that :
The largest planet in the solar system is Jupiter, followed by Saturn.
The smallest planet is Mercury.
The moon has craters, valleys and mountains.
The moon is not a light source, it does not make its own light.
The moon reflects light from the sun.
We've also been watching some really cool videos on YouTube. Do check them out!
Guess what the kids are up to ?
“All children are artists.
Here's a little twist ....
Lastly, it'll be great if you can post their thoughts on the comment section.
The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.”
- Picasso
Here's a little twist ....
Parents, instead of me describing the activity, let's do something different.
I would like you to view the post with your child and ask him/her what they / their friends were doing in the photos.
You are also encouraged to ask them about the interesting facts they've learnt so far.
We are looking forward to read all the comments :)
Till the next post!

Seems everyone loves rainbow egg curry ... Jupiter being made from ostrich egg :-)
